PayPal Billing Information Page
The Billing Information page is the first of three PayPal pages you will use to submit your payment. The image below shows the top of the this page. The numbered sections are described below.
- This navigation bar shows which PayPal page you are currently viewing.
- If you already have a PayPal account, you can log into your account to make your payment. If you don't have an account, you can skip over this section.
- The Order Summary section shows your total purchase amount in Canadian dollars (CAD). The View Cart link will open up another window to show more details about your order.
Country
Use the drop-down list to select the name of the country to which your credit card billing statements are sent.
Note: Fields marked with a red asterisk (*) are required fields.
Credit Card Information
- First Name: given name that appears on your credit card
- Last Name: surname that appears on your credit card
- Payment Type: name of the credit card
- Credit Card Number: (self-explanatory)
- Expiration Date: expiration month and year
- Card Verification Number: three-digit credit card security code
Billing Address
Fill out this section with the address to which your credit card billing statements are sent. This information is used during PayPal's credit card verification process.
- Address 1: primary street address
- Address 2: optional, supplementary address information
- City: city or town
- Province: (field will be labelled "State" in countries where applicable)
- Postal Code: (field will be labelled "Zip Code" in countries where applicable)
Contact Information
Enter your email address and home telephone number so that we may contact you if there is a question about your payment.
Security Check
For security reasons, PayPal requires that you type out the code that appears in the image. You may click on the Help link for assistance. An audio recording of the code is available.
Continue
Once you've made all the required entries on this page, click on the Continue button to proceed to the Review Your Payment page. If any entries are missing or incorrect, PayPal will redisplay this page and highlight the fields that need correction. Click on the Continue button again once your corrections have been made.
